1 whole 5-6 lb chicken
1 can of stout beer
1 cup of spice rub

Check that the chicken will stand up with the BBQ lid closed.
Drink 1/2 of the beer and cut the lid off. Stir half of the spice rub in the can and the other half on the chicken. Place the can on the BBQ and place the chicken on the BBQ such that the can is inside the chicken and the chicken is "standing up".

Cooking 5-6 lbs at 300º should take 2-3 hours.
