Apples or Pears
1 Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Cup Self-Rising Flour
1 Large Egg

Directions:
Directions:
In a 10-inch square dish, place diced fruit until almost full. Mix 1 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and pour over fruit. Dot with 2 tablespoon butter. In a mixing bowl, sift 1 cup self-rising flour; add 1 large egg and mix until crumbly. Layer over fruit. Bake at 350 until top is golden brown. Serve cold or hot.
