2 sticks softened butter
3/4 sugar
1 extra large yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 C flour
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream the butter in a mixer at high speed for a minute. Add the sugar and beat 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add the egg yolk and vanilla and beat a few more minutes until light and fluffy. Slowly add the flour adn blend just until the dough comes together.
Shape the dough into logs in plastic wrap. Refridgerate for 1 hour or so until firm. Slice into 1/4 inch slices and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.
