1 1/2 c. All Purpose Flour
1 1/4 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Unsweetened Chocolate
1 1/4 tsp
1 tsp. Salt
1 c. Buttermilk or Sour Milk
2/3 c. cooking oil (olive, canola, etc)
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour bottoms of two 8 inch round cake pans. In large mixing bowl, add all ingredients. (lightly spooning flour into measuring cup, level off before adding to the mixing bowl) Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour into prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in cake pans 5 min. Invert onto cooling rack to cool completely before frosting with your favorite frosting.
