1 c butter
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp almond extract
2 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, adding sugar gradually. Add the unbeaten egg then the dry ingredients and extract. Push through a press and cut into lengths so you can shape them into wreaths. Add sprinkles of sugar (red and green for holidays)etc. Bake on cookie sheet, 400º oven for about 10-12 minutes. No need to grease the pan.
