2 cups walnut meats, cut into large pieces
2 cups pecan meats, cut into large pieces
3 cups pitted dates, cut into large pieces
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 - 4 oz red maraschino cherries with juice
1 - 4 oz green maraschino cherries with juice
4 eggs

Place walnuts, pecans, and dates in mixing bowl.
Mix the sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Sift the dry ingredients over the fruit. Toss lightly to cover and separate. Separate eggs. Beat yolks and add to batter (fruit) and mix. Beat egg whites and fold into batter. Pack the batter into well greased bread loaf pans. Bake at 325º about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until lightly browned and a toothpick comes out clean in cake. Cool. Wrap in foil and store in refrigerator.
