2 c sugar
4 eggs, separated
3 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 c. milk & water

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake pan (tube pan or bundt) with pam and flour to prevent sticking. Preheat oven to 350º.

Beat egg whites till stiff peaks form, set aside. Cream margarine/butter well with sugar, add egg yolks and beat well till creamy. Add vanilla. Sift flour with baking powder and nutmeg, add alternately with milk & water. Gently fold in egg whites, turn batter into prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, testing for doneness. Serve with powder sugar, fresh berries or ice cream, your choice. Awesome plain as well!
