1 Cup Sugar
5 Tablespoons Flour
2 Eggs, Separated
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
3/4 Cup Flaked Coconut
Salt
3 Tablespoons Butter
1 Baked Pie Shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and sugar well. Add well-beaten egg yolks. Mix. Add milk gradually and mix. Cook over low heat until thick. Add coconut, butter and vanilla. Cool. Beat the egg whites, adding 3 tablespoons sugar as you beat. Beat until stiff and almost dry. Pour cooled filling in shell. Top with meringue and sprinkle coconut over meringue. Bake in a 325º oven until meringue is brown.
