4 sticks Imperial marg. (can use part butter),2 c. sugar,3 1/2 c. flour, 2 tsp soda, 2 tsp vinegar, 2 tsp. vanilla, scant 1/2 c. nutmeats, finely chopped(optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and add sugar slowly and continue beating til fluffy. Mix soda and vinegar together and add to mixture. Add flour and mix . Drop by teaspoonful and flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 325º for 10-12 min. Watch carefully.
