Ingredients:
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 sticks margarine
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add one egg at a time. Add flour, salt, baking powder alternating with the milk. Add vanilla.

Spray bundt pan with Pam.
Cook on 300º for 1 1/4 hours.
Let cool for 15 minutes before turning onto plate.

I have made this into lemon pound cake by taking away the vanilla and replacing it with lemon and adding fresh lemon zest to the recipe.

Add fresh strawberries and cool whip for shortcake.

This recipe is the best pound cake I have ever found if you can get past the fat content of it.
