3 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. water
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. rum flavoring
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Spread pecans in a 15X10X1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 15 minutes. Set aside. Combine sugar, water, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small saucepan. Stir until sugar dissolves. Cook, without stirring, until syrup reaches soft ball stage (234 degrees). Add flavoring and pecans. Stir until pecans are coated. Pour onto waxed paper, separating pecans as they cool.
