8 veal chops (1")
1/4 c salad oil
1/2 c tomato sauce
1 small green pepper, cut into 1/2" pieces
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp basil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 c water (or more)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Wipe chops with a damp cloth. Arrange in a shallow baking dish. Pour oil over chops. Brown in oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Combine tomato sauce, green pepper, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and water. Pour over chops. Continue baking until all are cooked, turning several times. Add a little more water from time to time, if needed.
