1 lb. small white navy beans
6 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 onion, chopped
1/4 lb. salt pork, cut in 2-3 pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Place dry beans in large pot and cover with water. Let soak overnight. When ready to prepare beans, drain and rinse from pot. Add 6 c. water and simmer for 2 hours or until tender. Drain and save liquid. Mix one cup of liquid from pot with salt, molasses, mustard, brown sugar and onion. Add to beans in pot along with salt pork. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 hours. If desired, you may transfer to a crock pot and cook on low 10-12 hours.
