4 eggs,beaten
1 1/2 c white sugar
1/4 c brown sugar
1 T vanilla
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 stick butter melted
3 c half & half
4 c cubed dry old white bread
1 1/2 c raisins(optional)

Vanilla Sauce- see recipe

Directions:
Directions:
Stir all ingredients together and add to bread and raisins. Let stand 1 hour. Pour into greased deep pan - baking dish. Bake 400 for 1 hour or until golden brown . Serve warm topped with vanilla sauce
