I head of lettuce
1small onion
1/2 lb. bacon
1/3 c vinegar
2.tbsp. water
1 tbsp sugar
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Loosely chop the head of lettuce or tear into bite size pieces, add one chopped white onion, put in a large salad bowl and set aside.

Fry bacon add other ingredients, pour over salad before serving.
