Directions:
Mix sugar and warm milk. Add yeast and let stand until bubbly. Whisk together eggs, oil, vinegar and salt. Stir in foamy yeast and add enough flour to make smooth soft dough. Knead on floured surface for 5 minutes or until elastic but not stiff. Let rise until double (2 hours). Mix nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread 1/4 cup melted butter evenly in bottom of 9x13" pan and sprinkle with brown sugar. Punch down dough and roll with rolling pin to form a rectangle about 18x12". Heat the 2 Tbsp butter and maple syrup until butter is melted. Brush onto dough and sprinkle filling on top. Press in with rolling pin. Roll up dough into log. Cut into 1 1/2" slices and place cut side down in prepared pan. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 375 for 20- 25 min. Boil glaze ingredients for 5 minutes and pour over golden buns. Return to oven for 5 more minutes. Remove from oven and invert onto plate.
