1 (7 oz.) can of chopped green chiles, drained
2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
3 c. cooked rice (11/2 c. raw)
8 oz. cheddar cheese, grated (or more!)
Pepper to taste
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first 3 ingredients well and set aside. Put one cup of rice in a greased 11/2 qt. casserole; spoon 1/3 of the sour cream mixture over the rice. Repeat the layering, dot with butter, and cover. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more.
