1 1/4 c. sifted flour
pinch salt
3 tbs. butter
3 tbs. shortening
3 - 4 tbs. cold water

Filling:
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 lb. mushrooms
3 tbs. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbs. parsley
fresh ground pepper
2 eggs
3 oz. milk
3 oz. heavy cream
1 tbs. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. flour
salt, nutmeg and cayenne pepper to taste

Sift flour and salt, cut in butter and shortening. Add water. Wrap dough in aluminum foil and refrigerate 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 400'.

Roll dough and place in pie pan. Cover with aluminum foil and rice. Bake 7 minutes. Remove aluminum and rice and bake 5 minutes longer. Cool.

Filling:
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble.
Wash and dry mushrooms. Slice thin. Melt butter and saute mushrooms until liquid evaporates. Add salt, parsley and pepper. Add bacon and spread over bottom of pie shell.

Beat eggs, milk cream, butter, flour and seasonings until blended. Pour into pie shell over bacon mixture.

Bake 375' for 40 minutes.
