2 lb. ground beef
3 med. onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 10-1/2 cans condensed beef broth, undiluted
1 28-oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
3 c. water
1 c. carrots, diced
1 c. celery, diced
1 c. green beans, fresh or frozen
1 c. potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 T. fresh parsley, minced (or 2 t. dried parsley flakes)
1 t. dried basil
1/2 t. dried thyme
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, cook beef, onions and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain.
Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and cook on high for 8 hours or until heated through.
