1/2 c.butter,
1 c. flour,
4 med. apples, cut in 1/2 in slices,
2 c.light cream,
3 egg yolks,
3 eggs,
1/8 tsp. salt,
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut butter into flour: Add just enough water to bind mixture. Mix well. Roll out thin on floured surface. Line 10 inch pie pan. Fold and flute edge of pastry. Spread apple slices over pie shell. Bake in 375º oven for about 10 min. Beat cream, egg yolks, eggs, salt and 1/2 c sugar together lightly: pour over apple slices. Reduce oven to 350º bake for 30 min. or until firm. Sprinkle with 2 tsp. sugar and 3 tbl. melted butter. Increase oven to 450º: Bake for about 5 min. longer.
