4 1/2 c chopped red apples,
1/2 c. water,
1/4 c lemon juice,
1/2 c raisins,
1 pkg powdered pectin,
5 1/2 c sugar,

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first four ingredients in a kettle. Add 1 pkg powdered pectin and stir well. Cook on high head--stirring constantly--bring to a boil. Add sugar and bring to a bubbling boil again. Boil 1 min after the bubbling boil time and then add nuts. Remove from heat--if desired you can add a few drops of red coloring. Alternately skim and stir for 5 min. Ladle into jars and seal.
