1 pt. pie cherries, 1 c. sugar, 1-2 lb can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c tapioca, Mix together and cook until thick. Cool.
Crust: 2 c. flour, 1 c. quick oats, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. corn flakes, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1 c. butter or margarine,
While filling is cooling, mix crust mixture and press half of mixture into a 9x14 inch baking dish. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees for 20 or 25 min. Cool; add the cherry delight on top of crust. Serve plain or with whipped cream.
