4 medium(sliced. peeled, cored) tart apples, Granny Smith is PERFECT
3/4 C. packed light Brown Sugar
1/2 C. all purpose Flour
1/2 C. Quick-Cookin' Oats or old fashioned Oats
1/3 C. softened Butter or Margarine
good pinch each (3/4 tsp.) of Cinnamon and Nutmeg

1. Heat oven to 375 F. Grease bottom and sides of an 8-inch square pan.

2. Spread Apples in pan.

3. In medium bowl, stir the remaining ingredients until WELL MIXED; sprinkle over Apples.

4. Bake for about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.

Serve with Ice Cream.

If you're feelin' "wild" you can replace the apples with ANY fruit you wish, i.e. 4 C. blueberries
