1 cup light brown sugar
01 cup granulated sugar
1 cup butter

Add:
2 eggs, beating well

Sift together:
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tarter
4 cups flour

Add 1 cup of flour at a time to creamed mixture, mixing well after each addition

Stir in:
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Roll dough into several long rolls (roll should be about 2” across). Wrap each roll separately in waxed paper and chill several hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice thinly. Bake on greased sheet 12 – 15 minutes.

**Dough may be frozen till ready to bake. Let thaw and slice.
