2/3 cup packed brown sugar 3 Tbsp butter (size of a walnut) 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 3/4 cup raisins and or pecans crushed 1 or 2 packages of pre-made tart shells
Beat butter into brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla and beat. Add raisins/pecans. Mix all ingredients together. Pour into tart shells until about 2/3 full. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes or until pastry is brown and/or mixture is bubbly. I think this was Mom's recipe. Easy and my family eats them all up!
