Cake:
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla


Icing:
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cake: Sift flour, sugar and baking soda together in a large bowl. Set aside. Melt butter and add cocoa and water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add to flour mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Pour in 9x13 pan. Bake at 400º for 20 minutes. While the cake is baking make the icing.

Icing: Combine the icing ingredients. Mix and pour over hot cake. Return to oven for 2 minutes.
