"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
Add everything into a bowl and beat until smooth

these make quite flat pancakes if you like thick and fluffy add 1/2 cup SR flour and 1/2 cup plain
if you like thinner pancakes just add more milk!!

they cook better in a stainless steel based frypan with a little butter to grease the bottom, and our faveorite toppings are honey, golden syrup and lemon and sugar.

Personal Notes:
We triple this mix and that feeds all 7 of us with 2 or 3 dinner plate sized pancakes each, the kids add their toppings and fold them like a wrap so nothing escapes
