2 c. raisins
2 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. self rising flour
1 c. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine raisins, water and baking soda. Bring to a boil. When mixture begins to foam, remove from heat and cool. Beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add raisins and fold in nuts. Pour batter into 3 well greased floured bread pans. Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes.
