1 c. sugar,
1/2 c. butter,
2 eggs-beaten,
2 c. flour,
2tsp. baking powder,
Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cover the bottom of a long baking pan (buttered) with sliced apples. Make a batter of the other ingredients using enough milk to make a batter for a cake. Pour over apples and bake about 25 min. in a moderate oven--- 350 degrees. Turn out on a bread board with cake side down and apples on top. While hot sprinkle over apples about 1/2 c. powdered sugar, pieces of butter and cinnamon. Cut in squares and serve with whipped cream.
