1 cup margarine
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup coconut
3/4 cup chopped gumdrops
1 cup rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the margarine, both sugars and egg. In another bowl mix together flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Stir flour mixture into margarine mixture until combined. Add the coconut, chopped gumdrops, and rolled oats. Drop by the teaspoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Press down with a fork. Bake at 375º for 10 minutes or until cookies are golden brown around the edges. Makes 4 dozen.
