2 cups Flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup red & green cherries
1/2 cup walnuts
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp shortening
1 cup crushed pineapple NOT drained
1/2 tsp soda dissolve in pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all but the last 2 ingredients in order given. Dissolve the baking soda in the pineapple and add last.

Put in greased bread pan or lined.

Bake at 335 for about 45 minutes. Check with toothpick, may need a few more minutes depending on oven.
