Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. shortening or 3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. (12-oz.) pkg. Hershey's Mini Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, brown sugar, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Combine flour, soda, salt and add to creamed mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by tsp's onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8 to 10 min. or until light brown. After the first 2 or 3 batches, you need to watch the time, as the cookies will cook faster. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. If not much time, spread dough out on cookie sheet like cake dough and cook for at least 20 min. Cut in squares.
