2 eggs and enough whole milk to make 1 1/4 cups
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 cups shredded apples

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. Fry at 350º for 6-8 minutes or until done in the middle. Roll in a mixture of 2 cups sugar and 1 heaping tbsp. cinnamon while still hot.

These ladies were famous for these. They made them every year at the Sunday morning Polka Fest Breakfast and people stood in line all morning to get them.
