1 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup very finely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Then add flour, nuts, and vanilla. Form the dough into a roll and refrigerate. Slice cookies 1/4 inch thick and bake at 350 for 12 minutes.

When the cookies are done, roll them gently in powdered sugar or you can sprinkle them lightly with sugar and press a pecan half in the center before baking.
