4 eggs
3 cups sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1 large can evaporated milk
1 stick margarine
2 cups coconut (7-oz. bag)
1 cup chopped nuts
2 (9 inch) pie shells

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Combine sugar and cocoa, then add milk, eggs, vanilla and margarine mixing well. Divide coconut and pecans into the two pie shells. Pour filling over them. Bake for 45 minutes then turn oven to 350º for 10 to 15 more minutes or until done.

Check on pies in about 30 minutes after being in oven and if they look as if they may get too brown before the time is up then lay a piece of tin foil loosely over the top of each pie.
