1 lb very lean ground beef
1 egg
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
3 Tbsp oil
1 cup chopped onions
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp sugar
1 quart canned tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together beef, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into flat cakes. Brown in 1 Tbsp oil. Cook onions in remaining oil until tender. Add Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sugar and tomatoes. Mix well. Pour sauce over the patties, simmer for about 1/2 an hour. Serve with rice.
