1 cup shortening
2 cups boiling water
3 cups sugar
3 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 cups Kellogg's All Bran Cereal
4 cups Nabisco 100% Bran Cereal
5 cups flour
5 tsp baking soda
1 quart buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in order given in a very large bowl. Keep mixture in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. Bake as needed at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

I have substituted different cereals and had good results. Also, recipe cut in half makes quite a bit.
