3 medium avocados
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayo or Miracle Whip
1 package taco seasoning mix
2 cans (10 oz.) bean dip
1 large bunch of chopped green onions
2-3 medium tomatoes, chopped and drained
1 large can of sliced, pitted black olives, optional
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

Peel and pit avocados and mash with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Set aside. Mix sour cream, mayo, and taco seasoning together til blended.
Layer ingredients on a large plate or platter, spreading each layer to the edge of the platter, as follows.
First spread bean dip on platter, top with avocado mix , then sour cream mix , next sprinkle onions, tomatoes, then olives and finish it off with the cheese.

As a short cut or when fresh avocados are not available, I've used ready made guacamole. This can be easily cut down for 10-15 people.
I have used this at several parties and always get good reviews.
