1 1/2 lbs ground beef Chop one onion Finely chop one green pepper 1 pkg spaghetti sauce 1 lb can chopped tomatoes 1 8 oz can tomato sauce 1/2 c water 1 4 oz can chopped green chiles
Cook ground beef and add rest of ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Combine 1 lb ricotta cheese with two eggs Grate 1 lb jack cheese 8 corn tortillas
In a 12x8 baking dish spread about one cup meat sauce on bottom of dish. Place two tortillas side by side on sauce. Spread some ricotta cheese on each tortilla. Next add 1/3 cup meat sauce on top followed by 1/3 cup jack cheese. Continue until four tortillas thick. Bake for 30 minutes at 350º.
