5 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 pkg. yeast
1 2/3 cups luke-warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in luke-warm water in tall glass for about 10 minutes. In a large bowl, beat shortening, eggs and sugar and add yeast mixture. Add flour and salt to this mixture and mix well. Cover top of bowl with saran wrap and then cover with cloth. Allow to rise into double its size about 60 to 90 minutes. Mix down in bowl and pour out on floured surface. Pat dough out and cut out rolls. Place in well greased pan. Cover with cloth and allow to rise again. Preheat oven 350 and bake 20 to 25 minutes.
