2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
2 c. applesauce
4 c. flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cloves
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp mace
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 pkg miniature butterscotch chips finely chipped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, shortening, eggs, applesauce, flour, soda and spices. Beat in blender until well mixed. Add the raisins, nuts and chopped butterscotch chips (make sure to chop or they will not cook well). Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Pour into loaf pans and bake at 345º for 45-60 minutes.
