1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup mashed bananas
1 3/4 cups quick oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the shortening and the sugar; beat in the egg. Mix together the flour, soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon; add this to the creamed mixture. Mix well. Add the bananas, oats and nuts. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
