4 tomatoes, chopped
1 small hot pepper (I use a small amount of red pepper flakes)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp minced fresh garlic (as much as you like)
3 - 4 leaves fresh basil, chopped (or 3/4 tsp dried)
Olive oil to taste (I add until the texture looks good). It will become thinner as juice comes out of tomatoes.
Pinch of salt

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

This is great served on baguette slices brushed with olive oil and garlic powder. Grill on BBQ or broil in oven.
