1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs-Well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. set aside. Blend together the flour,baking powder and soda. set aside.
Cream margarine with 1 cup sugar until lightly and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla beat well. Add dry ingredients ad sour cream. Beat until well blended (do not overbeat) Pour half of batter mixture into greased and lightly floured 9-inch square pan. Top with half of cinnamon mixture plus chopped nuts. Cover with remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon mixture.
Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 1 cake
