2 Tbsp. bacon (diced)
2 Tbsp. onion (chopped)
1 c. potatoes (cubed)
2 Tbsp. celery (chopped) (optional)
1 bouillon cube
1/4 tsp. salt
white pepper
1 1/2 c. water
2 oz. clams (minced)
3/4 c. canned milk

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' bacon in a one quart saucepan. Add onion and celery to bacon and cook for about 4 minutes. Add cubed potatoes, seasonings and water to bacon mixture. Simmer bacon and vegetable mixture 12 minutes. Add clams and milk after the potatoes are tender. DO NOT BOIL MILK. Only heat to blend flavors.

Jodi loved clam chowder when she was very small. One day (she was about 8) we were at Mo's and she said "Mom, I think this clam chowder has clams in it." She wasn't sure if she liked it anymore.
