1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups Crisco oil
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
6 cups flour
6 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Mix well vanilla, Crisco oil, sugar and eggs. Add to egg mixture the buttermilk and baking soda.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg and add to other mixture. Cool mixture overnite. Spoon (large) on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400º oven for 5-7 minutes. Cool and frost.
