1 (5 oz.) pkg. crushed Oreo cookies
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 gal. softened vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
2 c. powdered sugar
1 large can evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine crushed cookies and 1/2 c. of melted butter. Mix well and press into a 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Chill for 1 hour. Spread softened ice cream on top of cookie-crust. Sprinkle peanuts on top of ice cream and freeze.

Combine in a sauce pan, the last four ingredients. Mix well and bring to a boil. Boil for about 8 minutes. Cool and spread over the ice cream. Keep frozen until about 20 minutes before serving.
