Follow Basic Dough recipe through first rise.
While rising; in saucepan combine
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
Cook together 10 minutes.
Mix together
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp cornstarch. Add to raisin mixture to thicken. Remove from heat, add
1 tbsp. butter,
1/2 cup pecans,
1 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg.

Directions:
Cool mixture to room temp. before continuing. Follow directions for Danish rolls creating rectangle
Spread mixture over dough. Roll up like jelly roll. Cut into 1 1/2" pieces. Place in pan. Let rise. Bake. May be iced with confectioner's sugar and water icing.
