1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix 3/4 c. melted butter 1 egg 14 oz. caramels 1/3 c. evaporated milk
Grease bottom of 13x9 inch pan. Take 1/2 of chocolate cake mixture and flatten in pan. Bake for 6 minutes at 350º and take out of oven. Pour melted caramels over brownie mixture. Pour 6 oz. of chocolate chips over caramel. Pat remainder of cake mixture on top of caramel. Bake for another 20 minutes at 350º. Cool and cut into bars.
