2 c. sugar 2/3 c. of milk 1 pkg. chocolate chips 1/4 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. nuts (chopped)
Mix 1st four ingredients in a saucepan and bring to (on medium heat) a soft boil stage. Take off heat, add butter and vanilla. Set sauce pan in sink of cold water and beat with mixer until thick; may add nuts then. Pour into buttered pan. Let cool, cut, and enjoy.
